The following documents are required as a part of the Admission procedure for every student applying for admission.

Attested Birth Certificate

The original Birth Certificate must be brought to the School at the time of admission. Nursery/Preparatory and for other classes on the day of admission in the School. This will be returned after verification.

The Birth Certificate should be issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths of the area in which the student was born. Affidavits, certificates from the hospital or certificate from any other person will not be accepted. Misrepresentation of age or falsification of date of birth will result in cancellation of admission forthwith.

Transfer Certificate, Character Certificate

A valid Transfer Certificate from the school last attended, issued by the Principal immediately prior to the student joining at RGS as well as a Character Certificate are essentially requirements and must be submitted on the day the students joins the School. In addition, the student is required to present the last Report Card indicating promotion to the next class as well as proof of attendance for the previous year. Until the TC and other documents are received by RGS, the student’s admission will be considered provisional.

In addition of the above, the following documents need to be submitted without any failure at the time of admission only along with the fees where applicable.

1.Duly filled up Hostel Admission Form (for students opting for Hostel facility)
2.Duly filed up Transport Request Form (for students wishing to use the School transport. Also filled up Indemnity Bond for availing transport facility which will be available at reception)
3.Duly filled up RGS Health Form stating details regarding allergies, asthma, diabetes etc., medications and first aid needed at the time of emergency.
4.Duly filled up Parents’ Undertaking Form
5.Duly filled up Local Guardian and authorised Visitor’s Form (For students opting Hostel facilities)
6.Copy of student’s valid passport and VISA (if other than Indian)

Photographs

The colour photographs should show full face of the applicant frontally.

1.Four recent passport size colour photographs of each parent with name and relationship written behind each.
2.Two recent passport size colour photographs of each of the local guardians and authorised visitors with name and relationship written behind back of each (for Hostellers only)
